Sex & All It's Benefits

Sex & It's Benefits

Sex builds intimacy: it requires both physical and psychological work. Don't be shy in the bedroom; communicate with your spouse what gives you pleasure and ask the same in return. Having sex boosts levels of the hormone oxytocin, the so-called love hormone, which helps people bond and build trust.

Sex gives our bodies invigorating pleasure like nothing else can provide us with. It's reciprocating factor offers pleasure to both you and your spouse.

Don't be a faker: when you withhold or fake orgasm you only cheat yourself. Make yourself available even if you are in a disagreement. Some of the worst fights are solved through the pleasure sex brings.

The average person burns 26 calories when kissing for a single minute. Kissing is also very good for your teeth because the extra saliva released while you're kissing helps keep the mouth clean and reduces the risk of tooth decay.

Forty-five minutes of sex burns 127 calories or more and vigorous sex for half an hour can burn 150 calories. Sex is a great form of exercise especially if it's the only exercise you will get that day.

Sex is Meant to Serve & Please You

You don't have to have a certain look or body type to enjoy sex. The media will always try to convince you that you have to dress-up or shape-up to enjoy this important aspect of your marriage. Many people refrain from sex with their spouse thinking they don't look good enough. Put those false concepts out of your head. Sex has one purpose and that is to give you pleasure.

It's no secret sex lowers blood pressure but did you also know that men who had sex two or more times a week were half as likely to have a fatal heart attack than men who had sex less than once a month?

Orgasm pleasure increases with age

There's no reason to stop having sex when you get older. In fact, you are more likely to enjoy it even more as you enter old age. A recent study found that sexual satisfaction increases with age.

Sex helps you retain your youth

Those between the ages of 40 and 50 who reported having sex 50 percent more than than twice a week had firmer skin than their counter-parts. Sexual intercourse releases the human growth hormone, which gives skin  elasticity.

Sex stimulates your brain

Orgasms get your blood pumping - much like exercise. That blood also flows to your brain. - allowing nutrients and oxygen to travel and stimulate your brain. This also boosts
memory, and increases brain function.

Sex helps you live longer

In a recent study on people over the age of 40 who had two or more orgasms a week died at a rate half of those who had orgasms less than once a month. The research suggests that sexual activity seems to have a protective effect on overall health.

Sex helps relive pain

There is some evidence that orgasms can relieve all kinds of pain including pain from arthritis, surgery and childbirth. Orgasm releases pain-relieving oxytocin and endorphins. This increases with orgasm frequency.

Sex helps you get a better sleep

Research shows that neurochemicals, like endorphins, can have a sedative effect, which also helps you get a better sleep. The hormone oxytocin is released from nerve cells in the hypothalamus (part of your brain) into the bloodstream which reduces overall stress.

Sex keep your bit's & pieces healthy

The extra stimulation causes blood to rush into the genital tissue, keeping it supple.

Sex helps with weight loss

Intercourse for as little as 30 minutes can burn up to 100 calories. Not only that, the stimulation also causes your body to continue burning calories faster than being at rest for and up to an hour after sex.

Sex can increase happiness

Orgasm releases endorphins that produce euphoria, pleasure, and occasionally uncontrollable laughter! Those who suffer depression and other disorders may be caused by a lack of pleasure. Health practitioners suggests that regular orgasms will improve their mental health and well being. Although there may not be a measure of how much orgasms lead to happiness, there is no need for a lot of scientific evidence to attest to the fact that reaching an orgasm is a source of instant satisfaction.

Sex leads to longevity

People who have regular sex (three times a week or more) were found to have higher levels of immunoglobulin, an antibody that fends off infection. The oxytocin released is known to also lower blood pressure. In addition, men who have orgasms at least five times a week are at a lower risk for prostate cancer especially if prostate massage is involved.

The Narcotic Side Effect of Sex:

Sex is a great pain killer because it produces  oxytocin which is known to relieve pain.

Having sex at least twice a week increases levels of an antibody which can protect you from getting colds and other infections.

Female orgasm increases estrogen naturally. It helps your cortisol levels and thyroid stay in check . It also raises testosterone levels in both men and women.

Frequent orgasm may reduce the incidence of gynecological cancers. Research shows that the more frequent orgasm the less risk you run of a gynecological cancer later in life.
