12 Laws - Karma

Karma doesn't let a bad name go unpunished...

1. The Law of Cause and Effect

The law of cause and effect is what comes to mind for many people when they think about karma. It states that whatever thoughts or energy we put out — is returned to us. It’s the most basic rule of karma.

2. The Law of Creation

The law of creation is all about making things happen;  you don’t just wait for good things to manifest in your life; it doesn't work like that.

3. The Law of Humility

In order to change something in your life, you have to accept and appreciate what currently exists.

This law of karma means accepting the unfortunate — and responding with humility as opposed to pride. It’s also about appreciating what you have both internally and externally.  This will provide you with the ability to move forward in life.

4. The Law of Growth

Speaking of moving forward, this next karmic law is all about learning and growing. This is where  personal development and experience collide. You are continually growing (evolving) — let it always evolve for better—for yourself and humanity.

5. The Law of Responsibility

The law of responsibility is about taking ownership in every area of your life. You are responsible for everything —from how you treat others—to how you conduct yourself when your boss is not looking — to how you compose yourself, and view humanity—even in times of prosperity. We ought not to look down on others— or think at any time, we can treat others as we feel— without consequence.

6. The Law of Connection

The law of connection states that everything and everyone is genetically, biologically and spiritually connected. Our daily actions connects us one to another. It's up to us to recognize others and welcome them with love, honor, and respect. This connection is always present — so we need to be in tune to it. By doing so, we'll be able to see karma's rippling affect.

7. The Law of Focus

The law of focus says we cannot do two things at once. By concentrating on one task at a time ensures that the outcomes will be favorable. Being fully present allows for a purposeful flow of energy, which in turn facilitates a deeper engagement with life..

8. The Law of Giving and Hospitality

This law of karma is all about selflessness and thinking away from yourself.  Many people have good intentions, yet few align them with action. True alignment with this principle requires a focus not only on good intentions— but also toward meaningful actions. By synchronizing selflessness with action, you can live a life of integrity.

9. The Law of Here and Now

The law of here and now is all about the present. The past is gone, and the future is not here.

Every day you wake up it will always be called Today!

Appreciate what you do, see and feel.

Make it a habit to be present each day so you can experience life to the fullest by engaging with nature and others in all you think, say and do.

10. The Law of Change

'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.' — Albert Einstein

A problem is bound to repeat itself until you figure out what you need to do, in order to change the outcome. This is something everyone must do to become the best version of themselves. This is where truth and personal feeling often conflict — because people have a hard time accepting that they need to change — as they prefer everyone else around them to change instead. If you're not getting good results  — it's because of something you're not doing right!

11. The Law of Patience and Reward

This karmic law basically says that consistent hard work pays off.  It's important to remember that achieving great things require time and persistence—and that successful outcomes don't come easy.

It's important to fall in love with the journey; by doing so,  you will continually see the results of your progress— even though it may seem slow. As you see visible results, you will remain pumped!

12. The Law of Significance and Inspiration

The law of significance and inspiration tells us that we all have value to offer the world. Every person is gifted with skills and abilities designed to serve humanity.

Serving others with your abilities and gifts do not have to be grand gestures; they can be simple— significant acts of kindness. By doing so, you contribute to the greater good!
